My profits are a negative number! What does this mean?

If you are selling a case lot Product (Frozen Cookie Dough or Frozen Muffin Dough), you may see a negative number in your Dashboard at the very start of your Fundraiser. This is because the cost of the case lot (containing 6 units) may exceed the profit of the sale (e.g. 1 unit).

Your Total Profit is calculated as Total Sales - Total Cost of Goods.

For example:

The Cost of a case of Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough is $108 (6 x $18).
The Sale Price per pouch of Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough is $27.
The Profit per pouch of Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough is $9.

If you have only sold one pouch of Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough, your profits will be calculated at:

$27 - $108 = -$81

However, as soon as you sell a full six-pouch case lot of Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough, your profits will be maximized!

If you have sold six pouches of Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough, your profits will be calculated as:

$162 - $108 = +$54

Please don't hesitate to Contact Us with any questions or concerns about your Dashboard.
