Thanksgiving Fundraiser

Hi James Mowat families & friends! Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than by filling your table with a delicious turkey, a double breast roast, or a farm-fresh veggie bundle—all while supporting our school! Every order makes a BIG impact: we earn $20.00 profit for each turkey or roast and $10 profit for each veggie bundle. The money raised will go directly toward building a much-needed new playground and will also help our Parent Advisory Association run all the fun events our kids look forward to each year. Place your order by September 21 and your holiday feast will be ready for pickup just in time for Thanksgiving. Let’s feast for a cause and make this year extra special!✨

Farm to School Veggie Bundles

Alberta-grown bundles of nature’s bounty. In partnership with Poplar Bluff Organics.

The Giving Back Food Bank option gives fundraisers like you the opportunity to give back to their local food banks. Since its inception, schools in Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, and Canmore have donated more than 30,000 lbs of fresh produce to their local food banks through this program!

Farmhouse Bundle

Columba Potatoes: Waxy to starchy scale of potato textures. These will hold together well in a soup, salad or stew, but are still starchy enough to work well as a "smashed" or mashed potato.

Nantes Bolero Carrots: The orange Nantes carrots are not often grown commercially because they are coreless, meaning they don't have a tough core that holds the carrot together when machine handled. There is no better carrot for crispness and sweetness.

Red Cloud Beets: We like their intense colour (very high betaine content!) and sweetness.

Rainbow Bundle

Fingerling Potatoes: Includes a fun mix of varieties such as Carminelle (red) Bellanita (yellow), Pink Fir (pink, heritage variety) and Violet Queen (purple). Sure to impress.

Mixed Beets: These beets are a variety of gold and a candy stripe (Chioggia). The Chioggia are spectacular sliced very thin and put in a salad raw. Gold beets are great for people who don't think they like beets, and where a stained dress would be a disaster.

Rainbow Carrots: White Satin, Mellow Yellow, Purple Haze, and Dragons. The dragons and purple haze should be cooked separately if you'd like to avoid their colours mixing. Slice the purple haze and dragons diagonally and use raw for an extra-colourful pop.
